Dave Clark musician David Clark is an English musician, record producer and entrepreneur. Clark was the leader and manager of the s beat group the Dave Clark Five , the first British Invasion band to follow the Beatles to America in In Clark and his band were inducted into the Roll Hall of Fame. Born in Tottenham in Middlesex , Clark left school without qualifications at the age of 15 and became a film stuntman , performing in over 40 films. Which is really too bad, because they were an awesome band. Their sound was exciting. The guitars buzzed, the vocals were frenzied and the drummer Dave Clark was a right thumper.
It was attended by fewer teens than the Beatles' concert, possibly because it was scheduled for a Thursday night, and many who traveled from various parts of Northern California for the Beatles during the summer, couldn't make it for the Five on account of school.
